IMPROVED DOUBLE-CYLINDER AND DETECTION LOCK
OPERATING
The present invention relates to an improved lock with double cylinder and information transmission. More particularly, the invention relates to a secure lock for mailboxes and parcel boxes. In the present description and in the claims to which it gives rise, the term "letterbox" means both the mailboxes proper and the parcel boxes.
In the field of locksmithing, security is a paramount choice for the user. In the state of the art, double cylinder locks are known, one of which, called a service cylinder, can be actuated at the same time by a customer key and a service key, distinct from said customer key. and the other, called customer cylinder, is operable only by said customer key. In other words, the client cylinder has the function of blocking or authorizing the actuation of the service cylinder by the service key. The customer's cylinder therefore has two positions: - a position in which the service cylinder can be operated indefinitely with the service key, - a position in which the service cylinder can not be actuated at all with the service key, but only with the customer key.
These locks therefore do not allow a single actuation of the service cylinder between two actuations of the customer cylinder. This is particularly unfortunate for letterbox locks that are opened by mailmen or delivery men equipped with master keys, but also more and more often burglarized (without burglary) by thieves who possess this type of lock. key.
In addition, another disadvantage of known locks is that the customer does not have the opportunity to know when the service key has been used. Thus, to know if a letter or a package has been deposited in the mailbox, the customer must check by itself by physically opening the mailbox.
There is therefore a real need for resolution of the previously discussed technical problem. To this end, the present invention provides a double cylinder lock, the first of said cylinders, called service cylinder, being operable by a first key, the second of said cylinders, called customer cylinder, being operable by a second key distinct from the first key, in which the service cylinder is actuable only one time at most between two actuations of the customer cylinder, the lock also comprising detection modules of the operation of the service cylinder.
Thanks to these provisions, after the deposit of a package in the mailbox and the closure of said box, the master keys become totally inoperative because said box can be opened only by the key of its owner.
According to one variant, the lock further comprises a closure plate and a casing in which the service cylinder and the customer cylinder are housed, the closure plate being configured to close the casing, the detection module comprising: a pion configured to be moved by the service cylinder into a release position when the service cylinder is actuated, the pin being configured to protrude out of the housing or closure plate through a sensing orifice formed in the housing or the housing closure plate, respectively; - A trigger module configured to be triggered by the pin when the pin is moved to the trigger position.
Alternatively, the lock further comprises a communication module configured to transmit information relating to the detection of the actuation of the service cylinder by the detection module.
According to one variant, the communication module is configured to transmit wireless information, preferably by sending an SMS or e-mail.
According to particular features, the lock according to the invention further comprises: - a pallet at the bottom of which is provided a notch in a circular arc, - a pivoting clutch disc comprising a sliding tube within said notch between the disengaged position and the engaged position.
According to particular features, - the disk has a through bore arranged in the extension of the tube, - the tube comprises, at its rear end, a narrowing, - said lock further comprises a spring disposed within said tube, - the clutch is disposed within said tube and comprises a cylindrical body and a head.

According to particular features, the lock according to the invention further comprises a so-called service bit comprising an outgrowth, an oblong notch and an orifice, said notch receiving a rotor of the service cylinder, said orifice receiving the body of the during operation of said service cylinder.
According to particular features, the lock according to the invention further comprises a striker comprising an oblong slot and an orifice, said striker being attached to the pallet, the notch of said striker accommodates the service cylinder, the orifice of said keeper receives the body of the clutch when the clutch is in the engaged position.
According to particular features, the lock according to the invention further comprises a so-called client blade comprising an outgrowth and an oblong notch, the notch of said customer bit receives a rotor of the customer's cylinder. According to particular features, the lock according to the invention further comprises - a bolt having two lower slots and an oblong notch, one of said slots being adapted to receive the protrusion of the service bit, the other of said slots being adapted to receive the protrusion of the customer bit, - a groove applied against a front face of the bolt on which it is mounted free to rotate, said groove having a lateral slot, - a square fixed on the bottom of the pallet and adapted to slide at within the notch of the bolt and the groove of the throat. The invention also relates to a method of operating such a lock, wherein, after locking the lock by actuating the customer's cylinder, the unlocking of the lock can be performed by actuating one or the other cylinders, and in that, after locking the lock by actuating the service cylinder, the unlocking is possible only by actuation of the customer cylinder. The invention also relates to a mailbox with such a lock. With these provisions, the owner of the mailbox may allow only one access to his box when he is waiting for a package. In other words, no individual with a pass anywhere can open the mailbox after delivery of a package. Only the owner can pick up the parcel with his own customer key. Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear on reading the following description of a preferred embodiment of the invention, given by way of example and with reference to the appended drawings, which show: FIG. an oblique perspective exploded view of an example of an improved lock according to the invention; FIGS. 2A and 2B, two sectional views of the same example of a lock according to the invention in a disengaged position; FIGS. 3A and 3B, two sectional views of the same example of a lock according to the invention in a semi-engaged position; Figures 4A and 4B, two sectional views of the same example of a lock according to the invention in an engaged position. A rear end of the rotor 17 is disposed within the oblong slot 44 of the customer bit. The client key is intended to be inserted into a front end of the rotor 17 to rotate it about an axis of rotation 51 extending through the notch 44 and the orifice 22 of the pallet 1.
Figures 2A and 2B show two sectional views of the same example of lock 100 in a disengaged position. In this position, the mailbox is closed and can be opened either by operating the service cylinder or by actuating the customer cylinder. The front end of the body 32 of the clutch 5 is supported on the rear face of the blade 9 of service, the groove 8 is supported, because of gravity, on a wafer of the customer bit 10 and the bolt 6 is out. Moreover, the protrusion 40 of the bit 9 is not engaged in the slot 36 of the groove 8 and the protrusion 43 of the bit 10 is not engaged in the slot 37 of said groove.
Figures 3A and 3B show two sectional views of the same lock example according to the invention in a semi-engaged position. In this position, the mailbox is open, the bit 9 has made a clockwise rotation of about 90 °, ie a quarter of a turn, due to the actuation of the service cylinder, ie to the pivot of its rotor 14 under the action of a service staff. This rotation engages the protrusion 40 in the lower slot 36 of the bolt 6, then lifts the groove 8 until a lower edge of its side slot 39 comes into abutment and slides against the square 26. Moreover, this rotation aligns the orifice 42 of the bit 9 and the clutch 5. As a result, the end of the clutch 5 opposite its head 33 penetrates into the orifice 42 under the action of the spring 19.
FIGS. 4A and 4B show two sectional views of the same example of a lock according to the invention in an engaged position. In this position, the mailbox has been closed and can only be reopened by actuating the customer's cylinder. The bit 9 and the clutch disc 4 have turned counterclockwise about 90 ° due to the actuation of the service cylinder. This rotation disengages the protrusion 40 from the lower slot 36 of the bolt 6, then removes the groove 8 until the square 26 comes out of its lateral slot 39. Moreover, this rotation aligns the orifice 46 of the latch 11 and the clutch 5. As a result, the end of the clutch 5 opposite its head 33 enters the orifice 46 under the action of the spring 19, which blocks any actuation of the service cylinder 60.
In this engaged position, if the customer wants his mailbox to be reopened once again by a service personnel, he must open it and reset the lock 100, that is to say manually disengage the lock. clutch 5 by pulling and sliding, with the clutch disc 4, within the notch 25 between the disengaged position (high) and the engaged position (low).
By opening the mailbox after the service personnel, the owner operates with his customer key the customer cylinder by turning it a quarter of a turn clockwise, which rotates the bit 10 accordingly. The extrusion 43 of the bit 10 then engages in the lower slot 37 of the bolt 6 which begins to slide around the square 26, then lifts the groove 8 until the lower edge of its side slot 39 comes into position. stop and slide against the square 26.
With reference to FIG. 5, another embodiment of the lock 100 is proposed. The embodiment shown in Figure 5 has a similar operation to the embodiment of the lock 100 shown in Figures 1 to 4B. The embodiment of FIG. 5 differs from the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 4B in that the lock 100 is reversed, that is to say that in FIG. 5 the service cylinder 60 and the customer cylinder 70 are mounted on the pallet 1 and the clutch 5 is mounted on the funcet 12. The palatre 1 and the foncet 12 constitute a housing and a closing plate of this housing for the lock 100. In addition, the head 33 of the clutch 5 comprises a curved portion facilitating movement of the clutch 5.
The embodiment of FIG. 5 also differs from the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 4B in that the lock 100 comprises a detection module 200 for actuating the service cylinder 60. Thus, the lock 100 is able to detect the moment when the service personnel placed a letter or package inside the mailbox.
The detection module 200 includes a pin 202 configured to be moved by the service cylinder 60 into a trip position when the service cylinder 60 is actuated. In particular, the pin 202 is fixed on the groove 8 so that, when the groove 8 is pivoted under the actuation of the service cylinder 60, the pin 202 is moved into its trigger position. Alternatively, the pin 202 can be fixed on any part of the lock 100 to move the pin 202 under the actuation of the service cylinder 60.
To enable the detection module 200 to detect the movement of the pin 202 in the trigger position, the detection module 200 also includes a trigger module 204 configured to be triggered by the pin 202 when the pin is moved to the trigger position. . The detection module 200, i.e. the pin 202 and the triggering module 204, forms an electric contactor able to be triggered by the actuation of the service cylinder 60.
To allow cooperation between the pin 202 and the trigger module 204, the pin 202 protrudes out of the function 12 through a detection orifice 206 formed in the funcet 12. The trigger module 204 is arranged against the funcet 12 so a portion of the trigger module 204 is facing the pin 202. Alternatively, in accordance with the embodiment of Figs. 1 to 4B, the sensing port 206 may be formed in the paddle 1 so that the pin 202 protrudes out of the pallet 1. In the latter case, the trigger module 204 is disposed against the pallet 1.
In addition, the lock 100 comprises a communication module 208 configured to transmit information relating to the detection of the actuation of the service cylinder 60 by the detection module 200.
To simplify the assembly and use of the lock 100, the communication module 208 is configured to transmit wireless information. To transmit this information, the communication module 208 comprises a transmission antenna (not visible). The communication module 208 can be configured to send sms, e-mails or make phone calls. The communication module 208 can also be configured to transmit this information using one or more of the following protocols: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, Z-Wave, ZigBee, DASH7, ANT +, SIGFOX, LORA, NFC, LIFI , 6LowPan or 2G, 3G or 4G mobile network.
To simplify the mounting of the lock 100, the trip modules 204 and communication 208 are arranged in the same housing fixed on the funcet 12. Alternatively, the triggering modules 204 and communication 208 can be dissociated, ie in two separate boxes, so that they can be placed in different places.
To supply electrical power to the detection module 200 and the communication module 208, the lock 100 further comprises a power supply module 210. The power supply module comprises a plurality of cells connected to each other to power the detection module. 200 and the communication module 208. The lock 100 is thus autonomous in electrical energy. Alternatively, any other power supply means may be used. The lock 100 may for example be connected to an electrical network.
There is also provided a method for transmitting information relating to the actuation of the service cylinder 60 of the lock 100. This method comprises actuating the service cylinder 60, then detecting the actuation of the service cylinder. 60 by the detection module 200. Information relating to the actuation of the service cylinder 60 is then sent by the communication module 208. This information can be transmitted to the customer who owns the mailbox so as to prevent it. a letter or package has been deposited. Alternatively, the communication module 208 may be configured to transmit this information to an intermediary device responsible for informing the customer or to a database of a company responsible for delivering a package to the customer.
Thus, when a delivery maneuver maneuvers the service cylinder 60, he triggers the detection module 200 which generates the transmission of this information, for example by sending a text message, an e-mail or any other other means, to the addressee to inform him that a parcel has been delivered.
The operating method of a lock 100 according to the invention therefore comprises steps in which, when the clutch 5 is disengaged, - a customer locks the lock 100 by means of the customer key, by actuating the customer cylinder 70 counterclockwise, - a service personnel unlocks the lock 100 by means of the service key, by actuating the service cylinder 60 in a clockwise direction, so as to open the mailbox to deposit a package, - the service personnel locks the lock 100 by means of the service key so as to engage the clutch 5, by actuating the service cylinder 60 in a counterclockwise direction, - the customer unlocks the lock 100 by means only of his customer key , by actuating the customer cylinder 70 in a counterclockwise direction, so as to open the mailbox to retrieve the package.
If the customer expects to receive another package soon, he disengages the clutch 5 to unlock the service cylinder 60, i.e. to make it operational. Otherwise, it leaves the clutch 5 in the engaged position.
In other words, after locking the lock by actuating the customer's cylinder, the unlocking of said lock can be effected by actuation of one or other of the cylinders, and, after locking the lock by actuating the service cylinder , unlocking is possible only by actuation of the customer's cylinder.
In a variant, the clockwise and counterclockwise directions are reversed without changing the operation of the lock described above.
In the foregoing description as well as in the following claims, service key and customer key means any means for actuating the service and customer rolls, respectively. For example, this actuating means may consist of an electromechanical device provided with an electric micromotor, a microcontroller, a data memory and a communication system. This communication system can be in the form of - an alphanumeric keyboard, in which case the owner (s) of the lock and / or the factor (s) has code (s) of actuation of the (or) cylinder (s), this (s) code (s) being stored in the data memory, or - a smart card reader for receiving one or more smart card (s) held (s) by the owner (s) of the lock and / or the factor (s), the data relating to that (or these) card (s) being stored in the data memory, or well - a sensor using near field communication (Near Field Communication) technology or radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to contactlessly detect a badge (s) held by the owner (s) of the lock and / or the factor (s), the data relating to this badge (s) being stored in the data memory.
